Who is Construction for Change?
Construction for Change (CfC) is a Seattle-based nonprofit construction management company founded in 2007. Through partnerships with other nonprofit organizations, Construction for Change builds spaces all over the world where people become healthier, better educated, and more economically mobile. Thus far, Construction for Change has completed seventeen healthcare facilities, eighteen educational facilities, and forty-two facilities focused on economic empowerment. Construction for Change has completed projects in sixteen countries across four continents.
Construction for Change believes in working for and with the communities they serve. Wherever they may be working, Construction for Change employs local laborers and construction managers, provides skills-based job training, and purchases locally sourced building materials. Community empowerment is at the center of what Construction for Change does.
